Agri-food is where we started
CEDESA has been developing software for the agri-food sector for more than 15 years in Extremadura, one of the regions of Spain where livestock farming and the meat industry carry most weight. Unlike competitors that offer generic solutions adapted to the sector, we build systems from scratch, with an in-depth understanding of how the processes really work.
Our livestock management systems understand the difference between the production cycles of sheep and cattle, the specifics of REGA, the requirements of TRACES, the EU's trade control system, for animal movement documents and integration with the systems of the agricultural exchanges (lonjas).
For the processing industry (abattoirs, cutting plants, cooperatives), we have developed traceability solutions that comply with IFS Food, BRC Global Standard and the requirements of EU food safety legislation.
