CEDESA DIGITAL, S.L. was founded in Badajoz with a clear vision: to build custom software for organisations that cannot afford generic solutions. Today we are a leading supplier to the Spanish public sector and to high-impact projects across Spain.
Our story
CEDESA DIGITAL was founded in Badajoz with a clear vision: to build custom software for companies that have processes of their own and cannot adapt to generic solutions.
Our first steps were in agri-food and livestock farming, the engine of Extremadura's economy. We developed systems for traceability, livestock management and integration with official registers before sector standards such as IFS or BRC existed.
Over the years, the technical rigour we had developed – in a sector where traceability is a legal requirement – gave us a competitive edge in public tenders that call for critical, auditable systems. We began working with the public sector, transport, defence and industrial sectors across Spain.
Today we are a company based at the Parque Científico y Tecnológico de Extremadura (PCTEX), Extremadura's science and technology park, with four current security certifications (ENS, ISO 27001, ISO 9001 and ISO 56001), CaixaBank's Premio EmprendedorXXI award and artificial intelligence projects funded by Next Generation EU and PERTE (Spain's strategic projects for economic recovery and transformation).
