One of the largest exporters of Iberian pork in the region, told us about the problem they had in the slaughterhouse, not only to identify the pieces that entered the profiling line, but also to ensure proper traceability in the quartering. Added to that was the significant loss of money due to human error.

This project has combined the creation of a web application where the client can make the integral management of its entire production process, the automatic communication between the platform and the different automatons involved in the production chain (weighing scales, mechanical arms, sorting line…) and the automated reading of identifiers in real time to avoid human error. All of this in an environment that is difficult to access technologically, which has also meant an additional effort to configure networks to ensure real-time connectivity.
With this platform, the client has not only substantially reduced the manpower involved in the process, but has also avoided human errors (reading and transcription of identifiers, duplicate weighing, etc.), and in terms of traceability, has far exceeded the parameters established not only by the administrations, but also those required by end consumers.
