In our calendar of events there are some dates marked in the Blue-Cedesa marker as "Essential appointments", and one of them is, without a doubt, the Meat Attraction 2019, which took place between the 17th and 19th of the present month of September, in IFEMA, Madrid.
This is the largest meat fair in the country, and it promised, and then more than fulfilled, great novelties this year in terms of software development and new technologies. Among them, it is worth mentioning the X World Ham Congress, the DISTRIMEAT: European Meat Distribution Congress , the MEAT & ORGANIC Congress and many other conferences on the meat industry and the possibilities of expansion through the application of IT and industry 4.0.
Also attended China as Guest Importing Country this edition, for its importing capacity and huge opportunities, and announced, as far as we are concerned, that the Meat Attraction is INNOVATION:
"Innovation will be one of the fundamental axes in Meat Attraction to put in value all the innovation and sectorial novelties as one of the pillars of a modern industry and adapted to the new consumer profiles".
So, once again, we attended, installing our own stand and surrounded as always by the most important companies of the region in terms of meat and derivatives industry. Our CEO, Suso Merino, and the Project Manager of the company, Marina Castaño, were installed there, adjusting the agendas to be able to attend as many forums as possible, in order to ke CEDESA always up to date with the latest technologies and needs of the sector.
From the technological and modernization point of view of the cattle industry, the attention of the fair was focused on the traceability and the 4.0 industry, creating special expectation our software FeedMeter, for being one of the most advanced of the market and with more trajectory up to date. So much so, that we received in our stand the visit of important representatives of the public administrations, who wrote down in our roadmap several imminent appointments that promise to revolutionize the traceability system of the cattle associations at national level.
In addition, as a reflection of the interest aroused during the event, Cedesa was invited to participate, together with Antonio Ruiz, General Secretary of the Regional Ministry of Economy and Trade, in the live programme 'A cuerpo de Rey', on the radio station 'COPE'. In this programme, we highlighted the importance of modernising the sector, and our numerous participations with livestock associations and national operating groups supported our opinion
Thus, strengthening the relationship of trust -and friendship- with many of our clients, and initiating contacts with important companies that we hope will soon be so, we said goodbye to the event by putting a blue post-it on the work folder: Next year we'll be back.
